Frequently Asked Questions
We have been providing clinical and consulting services in Halifax since 1982, and incorporated as Genest Psychological Services (GPS) in 1998. Over many years, Richard and Louise MacGillivray, of Halifax Psychological Services, and Sharon and Myles Genest (GPS) met frequently to discuss best practices, applying ethical standards and informed judgments to decisions about our clinics. In 2011, this long-standing collaboration led to linking practices under our business name Genest MacGillivray Psychologists. Dr. MacGillivray retired at the end of 2021.
